The Centre for Conscious Design
The CCD is the home of the Conscious Cities Movement and we operate as an international grassroots think tank striving to accelerate systems change in the field of city-making. Our work primarily entails researching and evolving spaces that support wellbeing and resilience for individuals and communities through Conscious Design. In its 5th year, this video continues to propel The Conscious Cities Movement.
As the Director for Research and Development at the Centre for Conscious Design (The CCD), I am fostering extensive cross-cultural strategies for scaling creative, technological, pedagogical and community engagement programs riveted on post-disciplinary research in built environment design.
Currently, I'm leading the curation and design for Conscious Cities Festival with a special interest in the UN SDGs, understanding principles, and processes that can drive the future of ecological, social, and creative sustainability in the Building and Construction Industry.
The CCD is growing as a grassroots-up and inclusive platform for advancing the conscious cities movement. My research shaped eight initiatives for catalysing Conscious Design Dialogues across disciplines to forge cross-sectoral collaborations and local networks for co-creation.

I delved into researching, writing, and speaking about the discourse on Conscious Design, its elements, & principles.
From growing the first Conscious City chapter (Bengaluru, 2019) to expanding the movement to 36 cities across the world.
Community Engagement and Programme management that involves over 150 fellows from many professional and cultural backgrounds.
With CD-Kalpa, I have been leading the engagement design, planning, coordination, and execution.
